Designed for kids aged three years and up, the Power Wheels Lightning McQueen, was introduced in a collaboration between Fisher Price and Disney Pixar. The Lightning McQueen Power Wheels battery powered ride on is based on the vehicle from the Disney Pixar movie “Cars”
The Power Wheels Lightning McQueen travels at 3.5MPH in forward or reverse and will ride on grass or hard surfaces. The Lightning McQueen has sound effects that feature voices from the movie and real race car sounds. This battery ride on toy comes with a six volt rechargeable battery and the charger. Other features include power lock brakes and a full one year limited warranty from Fisher Price. Note that this motorized car for kids requires three AA batteries (not included) to operate the sound box. The Lightning McQueen also has a high speed lockout for beginners and younger children that limit the speed to 2.5 MPH. This battery powered ride on toy is rated for children up to 65 lbs.
